**** I Love Story Time was gifted an ARC by Mia Kayla in exchange for an honest review****

Bethany moves to Chicago to start a new life. She gets a new job in a top financial bank which puts in the hands of two men that are completely opposite from each other.

Kent Plack, has no interest in being with a woman for longer than one night. He's spoiled, lazy and gets what ever he wants from who ever he wants. When Kent first meets Beth he tries to hit on her but she is not affected by his charm at all. When she sees him, she can't believe how good looking he is but the minute he opens his mouth while alone, everything changes. Kent tries to act hard but Bethany can see Kent for who he really is, the exact image that he doesn't like others to see. Because Beth can see right through him, they soon become good friends. Best friends in fact. They hang out all the time and have no secrets between them. Some of the things that they say are hilarious. Kent has no boundaries and gets in Beth's business all the time.....

"Wow, I've seen a lot of things before, but I don't think I've ever seen anything this big." He pinched my overly large flowery pink-and-green underwear with his fingers on each side of the cotton.

"Kent, drop my granny panties, right now!"

"Granny panties?"
He held his stomach as his laughter echoed through the whole apartment. "Oh. My. God. Granny panties."

I seriously laughed a lot in this book when it came to the friendship that Kent and Beth had. It made me wish that I had a close guy friend that I could joke around with! One thing I loved about Beth is how she always wanted to eat. It became what Kent and Beth always did. They ate together.

"Sandwich?"

"And that, sir, is why we're friends."

"From the beginning, I knew this was the key to your friendship. You ate that pancake at that diner as if you hadn't eaten for days."

As Beth and Kent become closer in their friendship, Beth also starts to date Brian Burcham. Brian is everything Beth has always looked for in a man. He's husband material, has ambition when it comes to his work, and wants a family complete with the white picket fence. At first Beth doesn't want to be attracted to Brian because she has always had a rule about dating coworkers but Brian doesn't take no for an answer. His persistence eventually pays off and gets him his first date with Beth. They start to date and Beth really begins to like him. The only thing standing in their way is Kent's offer....to marry him for money. Beth has a load of debt and knows this will be her way out from underneath it. Beth feels that marrying for money seems simple enough, but when lines become blurred, Beth faces difficult choices, making her realize that the easy way out just made her life even harder.

I can't say much more because I don't want to give anything away. What I will say is that this book was a great read! I gave it 4.5 stars! I totally laughed my butt off but I also shed a few tears. I highly recommend this book and I am totally looking forward to the next one! I can't wait to see where the characters lives are led to next! This was the first book that I have read by Mia and it will not be the last!!!

......."Only you can make granny panties look so damn sexy."

Loved it!!
