When the synopsis of the book states... The tension is undeniable, the attraction is fierce. A man that wants what he wants and a women that will fight him every step of the way.... it was not lying!!
Kadence Turner is a teacher and Nix Knight is one of her student's parents. Kadence meets Nix when she calls him in for a meeting after his son Zayden gets in a fight with another student. At the meeting, Kadence finds out that Nix is also the president of the Knights Rebels MC and from the moment they meet, Kadence is drawn to Nix rough exterior.
Kadence has a past with another MC club so she tells herself to stay away from Nix...especially since he is her student's dad. But when she comes across him, and sees him with Zayden, she knows there's so much more to him then just the cut he wears. Even though she tries to keep her distance she is constantly running into Nix all the time. As for Nix, he defiantly takes advantage of those moments. Nix is attracted to Kadence and loves that she will go back and forth with him. He is used to women throwing themselves at him but not with the hot, smart mouth Kadence gives him. He loves every bit of it!
I love reading MC stories and love when the main character has a bad-ass attitude until they meet the "old lady" that will bring them to their knees and that is exactly what Kadence does to Nix! From the minute she meets him, she doesn't let him get away with anything. She has him and he knows it, it just takes her a little longer to figure that out. They are always bickering back and forth and it is too funny. He's a hard ass and she is soft and innocent. They are totally opposite but they fit. Nix spends his night at the clubhouse drinking with the boys and Kadence spends her nights at home with her roommate Holly or reading her sexy erotic novels... which I love when authors talk about reading books in their stories. I think one of my favorite parts in this book is when Holly is making fun of Kadence about her reading erotic stories that are so not true...
"Shut up, Holly. I read for educational purposes too," I argue.
"Oh, yeah? Like how to hit your G-spot? I have no idea how you read them. Seriously I can't get past how the guy will blow his lead into the women bare, and she gets up and walks a fucking mile without that shit falling out." She rolls her eyes."Seriously Kadence, it's bullshit. Some dude with super sperm blows his load in me, that shit is still coming out hours later."She laughs, shaking her head."Lies, it's all lies, Kadence."
I seriously laughed so loud after reading that part. It's so true!!! HOURS!! HaHaHa! So yes this book definitely made me laugh. I also loved the part when Kadence is trying to get Nix to be more romantic and he's like......
"You want romance, baby? You want roses and sweet nothings whispered to you as I worship your body gently?
"Well, it would be nice."
"Fuck that. I'm hard and fast and I'm anything but fuckin' gentle. Now get on your knees and point that ass in my face."
Did I mention he's demanding and straight forward as well?
"Why don't you ask instead of demanding me all the time?"
"Hmmm, that's not fun, but let me try." he smirks, leaning in and kissing my parted lips."Kandence, I'm gonna take you raw. I LOVE IT!!! I can go on and on about how hot Nix talks but I won't! I will leave some stuff for you to read about. Incandescent gives you everything. Laughing, crying, and even some action. Love the action that takes place in this story. I would have loved even more but it gives just enough. I have come to love MC Books, so if you are like me and like to read about the MC world and don't get offended easily, you will love this book! I would definitely recommend this story and I CAN NOT WAIT FOR BOOK 2!! I am looking forward to reading Holly and Sy's story!! I liked all the characters in Incandescent and I would love to read Jesse's story as well!! Great start to an awesome Series! 4.5 Stars!!!

Resting the cold beer between my legs to
soothe the ache, the boys give me shit for striking out. I feel the same way:
the woman is a tough nut to crack.
“You ready for round two, Prez?” Beau
smirks behind his beer. Turning my head, I watch as Kadence storms over. I
groan as my broken dick comes to life, apparently not caught up with the news
that she doesn’t like him. She stands at the end of the table, arms crossed

“Hey, sweetheart,” I say before taking a
sip of my beer.
