4 Stars!

I just got done reading Oceans Collide and I really liked it!! Liv is one hell of a kick ass fighting machine! I wish I had some of her moves! Liv is trying to get through life the best she can while keeping a secret that I didn't even see coming. I really connected with Liv. I loved her character and the relationship she had with her dad. Liv is moving on from the life that she has always had, in hopes of finding something that will truly make her happy. When she comes across a new martial arts studio that is opening up, she is hoping that they will hire her. With the back ground she has and what she has learned about martial arts from her dad, she knows it would be the perfect fit.

Lawrence (Law) just got his key to the new studio he is opening and can't help to feel like a little kid running around while looking at it. The last thing he expected was the beauty that was standing in the foyer when he was on his way out. Liv introduces herself to him explaining that she is looking for a job and hands him her portfolio. While Law is glancing at her portfolio, he decides she looks good on paper but can she fight? So, he challengers her and she accepts with out batting an eye.

I loved the scene of Law and Liv fighting. It was pretty intense and she got him good! From that point on Liv and Law immediately form a friendship. One that Law feels like he can't live without Liv and she feels the same way. Their friendship was really sweet. Law and Liv calmed each other down when times got rough. They were the shoulder that they both needed for one another. When Law is hit with a situation from a dad that he has not much of a relationship with, he calls his cousin Ocean to help him out.

Ocean is another Hawthorne that is all broody and hot! He's Law's cousin that is more of a brother to him. Ocean and Lawrence have always had the closet relationship, with both being fighters. They were two of the top fighters and would travel together when they both were on the road. Nothing got between them until Ocean had a life changing event causing him to lose contact with Law when he was forced to take action. However, now that Law needed him, he came to help him without a second thought. Once Liv and Ocean meet everything changes between the 3 of them!

There are a few twist and turns that go on in this story. The ending totally made my heart beat like crazy. I am really happy that I have book 2 waiting on my kindle so that I am not left waiting after that ending! Looking forward to diving into book 2. So, if you want to read a great book with not only one hot guy but 2, grab this one! I definitely recommend Oceans Collide!
