Presently Perfect (Perfect, #3) by Alison G. Bailey: Review by Lys

*** I Love Story Time was gifted an ARC in exchange for an honest review ***

5 STARS!

"There are two sides to every story and I wouldn't trade our sides for anything in the world." ~Noah

This book was heart breaking, emotional, and simply...beautiful. I can not tell you enough how much I LOVED it! I fell in love with Noah in Present Perfect and I fell even deeper in love with him this time around reading his POV. I have to admit that I was very nervous about reading Presently Perfect. I have read many companion books in the males POV and have found myself bored and skimming straight to the dialogue because I already new the storyline and I wasn't able to reconnect with the characters. This did not happen with Noah's POV. This is not the same story as before. This was Noah's story and there was so much more to it than what we read in Amanda's (Tweet) story. Alison G. Bailey has a special way of writing his POV so that it feels like its the first time you have read about Noah and Tweet's journey. I read every word. I felt every emotion. I laughed, I cried, I swooned; I was left with a ridiculous smile on my face at the end and I LOVED every minute of it!

There hasn't been a day in my life that I haven't loved you. I wish you would just let me love you." ~Noah

It broke my heart to read Noah's side. I didn't realize all that he was struggling with...the frustration; the constant heartache. So many scenes from Present Perfect were explained and were better understood knowing where Noah was coming from and why he made the decisions he made. All he wanted was to love Amanda and for her to finally be his. He knew she loved him. He just needed her to let him in. His very soul depended on her love...to breathe, to live, to survive.

"You're my heart and soul and that will never change." ~Noah

Like I said, this was an amazing, emotional read. It's a story of friendship, love, heartache and learning to live for today. I can go on and on and quote so many more beautiful words, but I won't because I want YOU to read it!  Presently Perfect can be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend that you read Amanda's (Tweet) story first in Present Perfect. It is just as amazing and it will give you their complete love story. Alison G. Bailey is a phenomenal writer and a beautiful storyteller. She has definitely become one of my most favorite authors!

"You're the first girl I've ever noticed and the last girl I'll ever notice." ~Noah
