Despite it's slow start, I did not want to put this book down! The story line took an unexpected turn and from that point on, it did not stop until the very end. This is what I love about this author. She lures you in with her beautifully broken characters and then after you are emotionally invested, she takes you on one hell of a thrilling ride full of sex, sin, and suspense. I enjoyed it so much... now I want more! Rooke is book 1 in what I anticipate to be another fantastic series from Callie Hart!
