You'll find that quote in the "Note from Author" before the story begins. All I have to say is, I only agree with half of it. Yes, there have been many times that I have cursed, yelled, and wanted to throw my kindle. BUT, I will never wish that I have never heard of the name, Janine Infante Bosco. Because if I had, I wouldn't have met Jake. I wouldn't have read about how to be kissed properly. And, I wouldn't have had the chance to fall in love with the Bulldog. So, I'm not sure I would ever wish that because the book world just wouldn't be the same!

When it comes to Deuce and Ally's story, they were definitely Bonnie and Clyde to the very end. What I liked most about Deuce is that he knows he's a sucker for the broken girls. One look into Ally's blue eyes and he was a goner. I liked the way he treated Ally and the way he laid it all out for her and gave her the decision of how she was going to live her life...

“Are you the victim or the survivor? The drug addict or the recovering addict? The girl who was lost or the one that was found? The girl who gave up or the one who took back her life? No one’s going to make that decision but you. You can beg me for drugs, hell, you can raid the medicine cabinet and down a bottle of cough syrup for all I care, but it would be a damn fucking shame because not everyone gets rescued, not everyone gets a second chance.”

Ally made the decision to fight, and watching her take her life back was great. The only thing that I wish was written differently was the prologue. I like when authors write the prologue by giving a glimpse of the characters past versus something that is going to happen in the future. For me, it takes away the suspense of what's to come down the road in their story. That being said, I still liked it, and I'm so excited to read about Linc!
