SECRET LUCIDITY by E.K. Blair: Review by Lys

Secret LuciditySecret Lucidity by E.K. Blair
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

"We're forbidden and scandalous, hidden behind lies and the protection of theses walls. Fourteen years separated in a world of unforgiving judgement. And yet, here we are, feeding at the mouth of sin and sacrosanct."

David and Cam's story was tragic, heart breaking, and beautifully taboo. There was so much emotion on every page. The pain written within each word was palpable. My heart hurt for Cam. There were so many tears that fell for her. I completely understood her attraction to David; it was all just too much. David provided the comfort, understanding, and strength that she was desperately in need of. Her innocence was everything he had lost and needed more than he even realized. Together they were forbidden, but together their scars were able to heal.

Secret Lucidity is a thought provoking, emotional read that will make you look at age and love in a different light. It may push your boundaries, but in the end, it will leave you with a full heart.

"And in a world that we are both struggling to fit into, what if this is where we are supposed to be? Right here. Right in this very moment. Because this is the place where our broken pieces have settled, connecting perfectly without any gaps."
