“One day I’m gonna be grown just like you, and you’re gonna be all mine.”
If you read my last review about book one, From the First Verse,
you may have read that I was struggling with the age difference between
Cash and Journey. I think a lot of it had to do with reading about them
while she was a little girl, which made it hard for me to see them as a
couple. Plus, I seem to have issues with big age gaps. So when I
started their story, I kind of hesitated. I wasn’t sure if I would like
it or not. But being that it was written by M. Robinson, I knew I
had to give it a try. Now don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy book one. By
the time I finished, I completely had a change of heart and I’m not
saying that lightly! I can see how they were truly meant for each other.
In fact, I think they were able to get through so many ups and downs because
they grew up together. Creating that type of bond that they shared was
special. I actually ended up really liking them together. (After I got
over the age aspect lol) . Cash and Journey’s story really gave us a
little of everything. I’m pretty sure many will have great big smiles on
their faces and hearts in their eyes while reading this. But just a
fare warning, you might want to have some tissues handy, From the Last Verse, can possibly break many hearts! I mean, it’s...
The Life of Debauchery
after all!
