Be still my heart. I am overflowing with emotion. This was such an amazing story! I absolutely loved everything about this couple. I knew it was going to be a story to remember. From the very beginning, I knew that West would own my heart. I could not put this book down. I had to walk away from adulting because I was consumed by everything I felt while reading. Where do I begin? I don't usually read dystopian or post apocalyptic stories, but I thought I'd give this series a try since I have read and loved other stories from this author. Let me just start by saying, I loved it! From the very first book, I was hooked and enamored with the storyline and it's characters. I became engrossed in a world like no other. A world filled with no morality, no hope, fear and brutality. A world with a contagion that creates these scary as hell ragers and mad scientist that have their own, wicked agenda. Sounds crazy, right? Well, don't let that stop you from reading it if you are like I was and only read romance. There is SO much more to this story! There is romance. There is love, and sacrifice, and immense perseverance. It has everything that you would want from a romance and so much more!

I loved Titus and Thalia. They were each other's missing piece to their shattered souls. The way Keri Lake is able to bring the reader into their story was brilliant. I felt ALL the emotions! This story kept me on the edge of my seat and held my heart in it's grasp the entire time. This is a book you do not want to put down. It's intense, suspenseful, emotional, and completely devastating. My heart still aches!

If you are looking for a story... a series that will completely consume you, THIS is it. I highly recommend!

Wow! What a read! Richard and Violet's story blew me away! I had no idea who Richard was before reading his story. I was completely wrong on my initial assessment of him in the previous books. He definitely was more than what I expected. I loved reading this second chance, rock star romance. 

Like all A.L. Jackson novels, it was written so beautifully. She never fails to capture all my emotions and take me on a thrilling ride. I did not see that twist coming and that's why I loved it so much. 

I adored Richard and Violet. They may just be my favorite couple from this series. I loved the complexity of their relationship. A.L. Jackson is a one click author for me as I can always depend on her stories to give me everything I love in a romance. Falling Into You, is definitely an I Love Story Time favorite!

I’m so sad it’s over. Boy, was I hooked just by reading the synopsis!! Bring You Back is a story that will always be remembered! I loved it. I also liked the length of it. It was so good. I didn’t want it to end! So, the fact that it was a longer story, was perfect! My heart pretty much broke for everyone involved. I was able to really connect with every character. I liked how they all were different, but loved their roles in their friendships.

There was definitely a slow burn between Julian and Camille, but I loved living through it! I also felt so sad for Reyna. I’m sure it’s not easy feeling the way she felt about herself. As for Tommy, he really is the perfect example of... the nice guy finishes last. I’m totally pulling for him! Of course, every story has to have that one character that just is there for laughs, and well, that’s Banks! Lol. He was a great addition to the story!

So, as you can tell, I was really into this story! I’m really looking forward to the next release in the series! That ending with Reyna??? A nail biter!

When it comes to this author, I feel as if reviews are no longer needed. At this point, anyone that has read a book by Brittainy C. Cherry, knows how good her writing is. All that really needs to be said is that it’s written by her and it should be a no brainer.

The Wreckage of Us is as always, a great love story. Ian and Hazel’s story is full of angst and passion. Of course, every love story has its struggles, but there’s nothing that Ian wasn’t willing to work through to be able to call Hazel his. There’s so many parts of this story that I highlighted! Brittainy always seems to melt my heart when it comes to her hero’s words...

“I’m fighting for you whether you like it or not, Hazel Stone. Our love song isn’t over. We’re just getting to the chorus, and I’m going to sing for you, for us, until forever.”

Or..

“What does a promise from a boy like you mean to a girl like me, Ian Parker?”

“Everything”. I confessed. “It means everything.”
