I am married and have a teenage son. I live in the Atlanta, GA area and I enjoy reading and writing. I went to bed one night after reading a book that wasn't very good and thought to myself, " I can do better than that." So the next morning I got up and started pounding away at the keyboard. My first book hides in the bowels of my laptop collecting dust. My first published novel, Running from Destiny, released in October of 2013. The sequel, Accepting Destiny just released in January 2014. My newest release is Reprisal - A Dark, Erotic Thriller.  All books are Mature adult and recommended for ages 18 and up only.

4.5 stars!!!

Let me just start out by saying I'm normally not into murder/mystery books, but this book totally hooked me from the beginning. I might have to start reading more of these if they are anything like this one!!

I loved Gabe! Who wouldn't love a hot cop that is willing to do anything to protect you while opening up your heart? From the first time Gabe sees Sydney at a bar he feels a connection with her. While Gabe is busy splitting up a fight, Sydney walks out the bar without having a chance to talk to her. However, he shows up to work the next day and finds out they will be working together on a case.

Sydney is a psychologist and is asked to come in and assist with a case. However, this particular case hits close to home for Sydney. Sydney has a dark past that she survived and the more she learns about this case the more her past comes back to haunt her.

While working together Gabe starts to have feelings for Sydney, and all Sydney wants to do is keep her guard up. Sydney feels that she is nothing but damaged goods due to her past. Gabe wants nothing more then to break down those walls.....

"Shhh.... just go with it, Sydney. It's ok, I won't let you fall."

Sydney can't deny her feelings for Gabe and how safe he makes her feel so she starts to let her guard down. She lets Gabe into her life and boy does it turn steamy. There are some seriously sexy scenes in this book! They just make Gabe that much hotter!

This story was suspenseful and nerve wracking! The mystery of who the killer was and the thrill of not knowing what was coming next had me in knots! All mixed with a sexy love story. I really enjoyed this book. However, just as a little warning, if you have a sensitive stomach, you may have a hard time reading this. If your like me and you don't mind a little edge to your books, then I would definitely recommend this book! Happy reading!!

DOUBLE COVER REVEAL ~ My Skylar and Jake Understood by Penelope Ward

*****DOUBLE COVER REVEAL*****
My Skylar and Jake Understood
By Penelope Ward

My Skylar
(Gemini #3)

From the author of the Amazon #1 bestselling romance, Jake Undone, comes a friends-to-lovers story of longing, passion, betrayal and redemption…

Skylar was my best friend, but I secretly pined for her. One thing after another kept us apart, and I’ve spent the last decade in fear of losing her forever.

First, it was the cancer, but she survived only to face the unthinkable at my hands. Because of me, she left town. For years, I thought I’d never see her again.

But now she’s back…and living with him.

I don’t deserve her after everything I’ve put her through, but I can’t live without her. This is my last chance, because she’s about to make the biggest mistake of her life. I can see it her eyes: she doesn’t love him. She still loves me...which is why I have to stop her before it’s too late.

My Skylar is a STANDALONE novel and a companion to Jake Undone.

Jake Understood
(Gemini #2.5)

From the author of the Amazon #1 Bestselling Romance, Jake Undone, comes a full-length companion novel.

A different side to the story: Jake’s side.

“We’re getting a new roommate,” they said.

I thought nothing of it…until she walked in the door. Her hand trembled in mine as she looked at me with fearful eyes. My entire world spun on its axis.

Nina…

It was a mismatch made in heaven: innocent girl from the boonies moves in with tattooed, pierced, badboy engineer.

I came up with a bet, a plan to tutor her in math and coach her through her phobias. What I wasn’t betting on was becoming addicted to her.

But I was living a double life on weekends, and once she found out about it, she’d be gone.

I had to protect myself and that meant one thing: I couldn’t fall in love.

**In Jake Understood, pivotal scenes from Jake Undone are retold from Jake’s point of view, combined with all-new material that will give readers a never-before-seen glimpse into Jake’s past, present and future. It can standalone but if both books are read, should follow Jake Undone.

Contains graphic sexual content and harsh language. It is only appropriate for adult readers age 18+.

Victoria doesn't have time for love after a bitter divorce. She's too busy. Her twin daughters are approaching puberty and her interior design business is expanding. So when Nick enters her life, she has to remember why she's too busy for a little lust. Which is difficult considering he's the contractor hired to redo her office. Besides, his tattoos and MMA past make him a poor candidate for a woman who's trying to level out her life.

Nick thinks Victoria's hot but doesn't want to get involved with a woman who has kids, much less one that's been hurt by a man. Too much baggage. He's sworn off relationships, tending to stick with one-night stands. Victoria is a client, one he doesn't want to cross the line with, but the more he's near her, the quicker his resolve weakens.

I’m a multitasking mom of four. When not writing/doing laundry/changing diapers, I like to catch up on episodes of Supernatural and Castle. If you can’t find me in front of the computer, I’m most likely watching my DVR.
I’ve been writing since the first grade, where I wrote a one page story titled “If I was an Indian”. My warrior husband was going to be the best hunter, I was going to live in the best teepee and apparently, I was having an affair with the Chief. Racy, I know.
Of the things I’m addicted to sweet tea, movies, and books top the list. My favorite authors include Nora Roberts, Lauren Kate, Kresley Cole, and Gena Showalter. Few of many I love.
Thanks so much for reading!

Review of Crossing The Line by I Love Story Time ~ Heather

This book follows an interior designer Victoria, who is divorced with twin daughters.  She is opening an office that needed to be repaired.  Nick is a contractor who is hired to do the job.  He is an ex MMA  fighter, who is just enjoying the single life.

The story line of this book was good.  I enjoyed the interaction that Victoria had with her daughters.  She is trying to do her best, as any mom does, and hoping she is making the right decisions.  I enjoyed the mother aspect of this book very much.  Her daughters are about the age of mine, so I could relate with a lot of the things she was dealing with.

The relationship with Victoria and Nick is one that you will be rooting for. She is not sure that Nick is a guy that would be good for her to be with.  He doesn't have a stellar reputation.  Nick has never been in a committed relationship and he doesn't plan on being in one.  There is a lot that both of them have to overcome if they decide that the attraction they feel for each other is something they would like to explore.

Victoria has 2 sisters that she is extremely close to.  Her parents are also amazing people.  Her father is also a contractor that recently retired.    Nick has a brother that he is equally close to.  He is also very close to his mom.  Which I loved.  They are great secondary characters.  Each with their own story to tell.

The story was intriguing with a few sexy scenes.  It is a story that you have to see how it ends.  I think the author did a good job at keeping you wondering what was going to happen next.  I wasn't sure which direction it was going to take.
