Victoria doesn't have time for love after a bitter divorce. She's too busy. Her twin daughters are approaching puberty and her interior design business is expanding. So when Nick enters her life, she has to remember why she's too busy for a little lust. Which is difficult considering he's the contractor hired to redo her office. Besides, his tattoos and MMA past make him a poor candidate for a woman who's trying to level out her life.
Nick thinks Victoria's hot but doesn't want to get involved with a woman who has kids, much less one that's been hurt by a man. Too much baggage. He's sworn off relationships, tending to stick with one-night stands. Victoria is a client, one he doesn't want to cross the line with, but the more he's near her, the quicker his resolve weakens.

I’m a multitasking mom of four. When not writing/doing laundry/changing diapers, I like to catch up on episodes of Supernatural and Castle. If you can’t find me in front of the computer, I’m most likely watching my DVR.
I’ve been writing since the first grade, where I wrote a one page story titled “If I was an Indian”. My warrior husband was going to be the best hunter, I was going to live in the best teepee and apparently, I was having an affair with the Chief. Racy, I know.
Of the things I’m addicted to sweet tea, movies, and books top the list. My favorite authors include Nora Roberts, Lauren Kate, Kresley Cole, and Gena Showalter. Few of many I love.
Thanks so much for reading!
Review of Crossing The Line by I Love Story Time ~ Heather
This
book follows an interior designer Victoria, who is divorced with twin
daughters. She is opening an office that needed to be repaired. Nick
is a contractor who is hired to do the job. He is an ex MMA fighter,
who is just enjoying the single life.
The
story line of this book was good. I enjoyed the interaction that
Victoria had with her daughters. She is trying to do her best, as any
mom does, and hoping she is making the right decisions. I enjoyed the
mother aspect of this book very much. Her daughters are about the age
of mine, so I could relate with a lot of the things she was dealing
with.
The
relationship with Victoria and Nick is one that you will be rooting
for. She is not sure that Nick is a guy that would be good for her to be
with. He doesn't have a stellar reputation. Nick has never been in
a committed relationship and he doesn't plan on being in one. There is a
lot that both of them have to overcome if they decide that the
attraction they feel for each other is something they would like to
explore.
Victoria
has 2 sisters that she is extremely close to. Her parents are also
amazing people. Her father is also a contractor that recently retired.
Nick has a brother that he is equally close to. He is also very close
to his mom. Which I loved. They are great secondary characters. Each
with their own story to tell.
The
story was intriguing with a few sexy scenes. It is a story that you
have to see how it ends. I think the author did a good job at keeping
you wondering what was going to happen next. I wasn't sure which
direction it was going to take.
