My rating: 5 of 5 stars

WHOA! What a read! This cover! This story! Lucian and Isa!
5 brilliant STARS!

I just finished this story and I am once again blown away by this author. Keri Lake has written a hauntingly, beautiful love story that will make you fall in love with Lucian Blackthorne, the devil himself. Everything about Lucian and Isa’s story is twisted and tragic, and like all tragedies, everything isn’t always as it seems. If you enjoy a dark and spellbinding romance, I highly recommend you read their story!

"There was only light and darkness, and in the darkness, I found peace."

Isa is a survivor. No stranger to tragedy and loss, she is searching for a new life. A life away from her past and the small town that has turned their backs on her. Her remarkable strength and maturity will lead her to the one place she never thought she would find solace and comfort. A dark and mysterious castle that holds more secrets and lies than anyone could have imagined.

"He looks like a god. One roughened by life and wounded in battle." ,.

Lucian Blackthorne. The Mad Son. The Devil of Bonesalt. Broken and lost. The fallen prince. Oh, how I loved him! An unconventional, beautiful anti-hero with a heart wrapped in barb wire. I was drawn to him immediately. Even when I wasn't sure I should have been. Dark and depraved never looked so good!

"Together, we are madness. And there is music in madness, and madness in love."

Lucian and Isa's story is so unique. The setting, the storyline, the twists, the characters... absolute perfection! I devoured their story. I was consumed by every event that led to the end and enjoyed every minute of it.

“I went in search of the villain, instead, and found him alone and in pain, living in a castle of bones. A darker version of my mother’s knight, whose armor had dents and cracks, and his hands sullied with blood. A broken man who tasted of salt and depravity, and who took me selfishly, without apology. He’s the curse my mother warned me about. The Devil of Bonesalt, the Mad Son, with whom I’ve fallen irrevocably in love.”

Gah! This quote! Master of Salt & Bones is a MUST READ!
