ALL I WANT by J Daniels ~ BLOG TOUR

Title: All I Want
Series: Alabama Summer #2
Author: J Daniels
 Release Date: November 24, 2014

Synopsis

Luke Evans is a heartbreaker.

I didn’t want to give mine to him. Not when he kept me out.

He gave me enough, just enough to make me fall in love with him. I say this to convince myself. But I know the truth.

I would’ve fallen in love with him at a distance.

Handing my heart over to Luke was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I was naive when I wished for more, when I hoped he wanted the same things I did.

I try to hate him. I try to forget him.

But it’s not that easy.

Love is a ruthless bitch, and I’m her latest victim.

Tessa Kelly is a man-eater.

When she sets her sights on you, she doesn’t just consume your heart, she goes for your soul.

What we had was perfect, real, and all I would ever want.

But she destroyed it.

She destroyed us.

I try to hate her. I try to forget her.

But it’s not that easy.

Love is for people who have hope, and I have none.

4 Stars!

I really enjoyed this story! I loved Ben, Mia and Tessa. I love stories that are about best friends with brothers. Ben and Tessa are brother and sister, and Mia is Tessa's best friend. They all grew up together and Mia practically lived at Tessa's house. However, at that time in their lives, Ben had always been mean to Mia. Ben, constantly made fun of her and was constantly making her cry. Mia ended up moving away and had not seen Tessa in over 9 years. Mia came back to spend the summer with Tessa planning to stay far away from Ben.

When Ben and Mia first come across each other Ben slips back to his old ways and starts to tease her. But, when he sees her face for the first time, realizing who she is, everything changes. Ben realizes that his feeling or no longer the same and will do any thing to get Mia to forgive everything that he ever did to her. So he asks her to be his friend in hopes of her realizing that he has changed since the last time she saw him.

Mia can't get over the way Ben looks when she runs into him at Tessa's house. She also can't fight the way her body reacts to him when he is around her. Mia is constantly reminding herself how mean he used to be to her in order to fight her attraction to him.

Ben is HOT! I love that you find out all these little things about Ben as the story first starts. When starting the book you don't know much about Ben other then how hot he is and how good of a dirty talker he is in bed. Then, you get to see a different side of him that I loved even more. You get to see the tender and loving side that if you haven't already, it makes you fall in love with him all over again. Then as you keep going you find out another little piece of information that just adds to his hotness. It was like unwrapping a present until getting to the final present! I loved everything about him in this story. His personality, his fierceness, his jokes, his words, and even his alpla ways that come out now and then. But mostly, I loved his tenderness....

"I just want to spend some time with you. I've made you smile a few times and I think I can do it again if you'll let me. I'm just asking for a chance Mia. If you hate the guy I am now then I'll leave you alone. I swear."

Tessa is so open and funny with her comments. She seriously says anything that pops in her head. Some things that she says are hilarious and I loved that she still wanted every little detail when it came between Ben and Mia's relationship. I'm just thinking about all the things that she said that totally made me laugh out loud. My favorite was when Tessa was giving Mia advice on a warning label that Mia should be wearing....

"As should you. Please keep all dicks less than nine inches away from this pussy, because the bar has been set."

or...

"I don't see why you can't give him a chance while he's between your legs. You'd at least get some relief if he was fucking you into the friend zone."

There are many great "moments" that Tessa blesses us with her words of wisdom, but you will just have to read to get those!!

I don't want to give too much away so I will have to stop there. I was able to read this book in one sitting, because I couldn't get enough of Ben and Mia. I was so happy with the ending and I am so excited to dive right into Book 2 All I Want. I am hoping it will follow with what's going on in Ben and Mia's life while reading about Luck and Tessa's story. I'm hoping that Tessa is just as animated as she was in this story. Maybe even more! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes stories between best friends and brothers...that didn't always start out with hearts and flowers.

4.5 Stars!!

Man oh man!!! I thought J. Daniels did a great job with Ben from Where I Belong when it came to alpha males. Well, Ben definitely has some competition when it comes to Luke! WOW! That is all I have to say! Luke, is so alpha and so dang hot! I liked Luke in book one and you all know I loved Tessa too. Both characters did not disappoint when it came to their story. I loved it. Tessa as always, staid true to her "I don't give a shit attitude" and "I will say what I want, when I want" mouth! She had me rolling when she was filling out her information on a website.

"If your job requires you to wear a uniform, keep moving. Marriage material, who would like to eventually have kids, and can fuck like a champion. And there is always a size requirement when it comes to my pussy. You must be this long to board this ride.

Tessa is so funny, and has her attitude about life but deep down she has feelings and wants to be loved just like the rest of them. The only thing that stands in the way of the relationship she has always wanted is Luke, and the walls he hides behind.

Luke has always hide his personal life from Tessa. The only person that knows what he has to constantly go trough is his best friend/Tessa' brother Ben. Luke acts like the relationship between Tessa and himself is just physical but, slowly he starts to realize its more then that. However, Tessa no longer wants just the physical part of Luke, she wants it all. She constantly fights with Luke and tries to stay away from him, but with his hotness, and the way her body reacts to him its hard for her to do. I can't blame her though! If Luke whispered those hot words in my ear, I wouldn't be able to walk away either!

I smile, dropping my head against the door. "Immediately? No, because I still fucking taste you, Tessa, and I want more of that before I do anything else. When you open this door-not if- the first things that's going to be sliding into you will be my tongue. Then my fingers. Then my cock. In that order."

Then he would say things mixed in with his cockiness that would just make him that much hotter...

"The only time those fingers touched that pussy last summer was when I made them, or when you were so fucking desperate for my cock, you'd beg me to make you come over the phone. I'm sure they've gotten a lot of use since me, but don't stand there and act like I didn't wring you out. You and I both know what if feels like when you come."

There's so much more that goes on between Luke and Tessa, so if you're looking for a story that has some major hostility going on while the characters can't help but want each other, this is definitely it! I really liked it and I can't wait to read Reed'sstory. Reed seems like he is the sweetest guy, and I can't wait to find out more about him!

Prologue

Two months ago
No.
No.
No.
Jesus. Fuck, no.
There are absolutely zero good-looking men at this thing. Besides Reed, who disappeared an hour ago with some giggly brunette, and the man I refuse to acknowledge. Weddings are supposed to be a breeding ground for nameless hook-ups, and I’m shit out of luck at this one. So instead of getting drilled in a concealed corner somewhere, my dress bunched around my waist as a stranger becomes familiar with my sounds, I’m having to find other ways to pass the time.
Eat cake.
Hit up the open bar.
Eat more cake.
Dance with Nolan.
Get cake with Nolan.
Steal Mia away from Ben.
Watch Mia get carried off by Ben.
And now this.
Sitting at an empty table, watching as Ben, Mia, and Nolan all slow dance together. Nolan’s in between them, rubbing Mia’s growing baby bump, while Ben can’t seem to keep his eyes off his new wife. I’m crazy happy for them, but right now, I can’t watch them share another perfect family moment in front of me. I need a break from this. Just a few minutes to get some air.
I step out of the tent and head across the lawn toward the Estate House. I’m walking aimlessly, not having any destination in mind. I just need to get away from all the love for a second. Love is great when you’re with someone. It’s better when it’s reciprocated. But it fucking sucks when that shit is one-sided.
And that’s the only way I’ve known it.
I walk down the side of the building and turn right to go around the back. As soon as I round the corner, I see him.
He’s leaning against the building behind some shrubs, head back, eyes closed, lips slightly parted. His sandy-brown hair is cut shorter than normal, almost buzzed completely, and it does really annoying things to his face. Like show it off more. Those ridiculously gorgeous features of his are on display for my eyes right now, and I don’t have to avert my gaze because he doesn’t know I’m watching. He has no idea I’m staring at his sharp, angular cheekbones, the fullness of his mouth, or the bump at the bridge of his nose that I see as this perfect imperfection.
God, I fucking love that bump.
His face tenses as his arms move to the front of his body, and I let my eyes roam to the reason for this change.
The blonde I recognize from the wedding is on her knees with his cock lodged in her mouth, deep throating it until she gags. His hands are in her hair, encouraging her, pulling her closer until she practically swallows him whole. I lift my eyes to that face I was just secretly admiring seconds ago. It’s no longer tempting me to keep my presence unknown. Because there’s no way in hell I’m going to let this shit happen right now.
Fuck him, and his face.
I step in front of the bush and make a fist, clearing my throat into it. Luke’s eyes shoot open and he grabs the blonde’s head, sliding her off his cock. She releases it with a pop and a grunt of disappointment. Apparently, she isn’t finished. But she looks pretty fucking finished to me.
Luke tucks himself away quickly. “What the fuck, Tessa? What are you doing?”
I look from him to the blonde. “Oh, sweetie. You might want to go disinfect. He’s got the herp.”
Slutty blonde parts her lips as if she’s waiting for another cock. She stands and wipes her mouth with the back of her hand, glaring in Luke’s direction. “Oh my God. Are you serious? You have herpes?”
Luke’s wide eyes train on mine. “What? No I don’t!”
“He’s really sweet about it though,” I say, looking sympathetically at the blonde. “He pays for my Valtrex every month.” I turn my eyes to Luke, letting out a swooning sigh. “So romantic.”
Blonde shoves against Luke’s chest. “You’re disgusting.”
“I don’t have fucking herpes!” Luke adamantly vows as he tightens his belt.
I watch, basking in my victory as blonde trudges through the grass, getting her heel caught in the process. She stumbles a bit, glares at Luke over her shoulder, and disappears around the corner.
“I can’t fucking believe you just did that,” Luke says, prompting me to whip my head around to look at him. He buttons his suit jacket up and steps closer. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
You.
What happened between us.
And the fact that you’ve obviously moved on without any difficulty.
I close the gap and he freezes, his hand flattening against his jacket. My gaze flicks from his crotch to his face, and I mask all the hurt of seeing this asshole with another woman behind the fakest smile I’ve ever worn.
“There’s absolutely nothing wrong with me. You, on the other hand, might want to go to the clinic. If you didn’t have an STD before that whore touched you, I’m sure you have one now.”
I turn and storm away before he can give me a comeback. But more importantly, before he can see the smile fading from my lips.
