*** BLOG TOUR*** THE FALLING OF GRACE by Marisa Oldham

Book One
You will never forget your first date, your first kiss, or your first love. You'll also never forget how it felt when it was torn apart.
Seventeen-year old Grace Hathaway does not give much thought to falling in love, until the day that Ian Taylor, rebel and misfit walks into her math class. From their first conversation, Grace is mesmerized by Ian's charisma and rock star façade.
Ian Taylor, a seventeen-year old kid from the wrong side of the tracks tries to ignore the feelings he has for Grace, but is captured by her caring, non-judgmental personality from the moment they meet. Grace becomes Ian's everything and there is nothing he will not do for her. Hurting her was never part of his plan.

5 Stars!

Lets just start out by saying..... I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! If I could give more then 5 stars I would!!

Marisa Oldham did an awesome job on this book! I was hooked just reading the prologue !! Yes, the PROLOGUE!! It was only 2 pages!!! I did not want to put it down. Not only was I sucked in after just reading 2 pages, but by chapter 7, I was already crying!!! There were so many things I loved about this book. So many things that made me fall in love. THEN, at one point, I wanted to throw my kindle just to pick it up and continue reading!! UGH!!!

I loved Grace (Gracie). She was so sweet and innocent. She loved with all of her heart. I loved Ian too even though at some parts in the story he really made me mad! Ian and Grace met in high school. Ian is the new kid that really stands out compared to the other students. His style is Rock 'N Roll down the bracelets that he wears on his wrists. He ends up sitting next to Grace in class and they become friends. Over time, Grace starts to like him hoping that he feels the same way.

Ian and Grace begin dating and let me just say I loved their first date. Ian was so shy when it came to his plans but to me it was perfect!! Ian says and does the most heart warming things. There's so many things that Ian tells Grace that just warmed my heart, Ian is so sweet.....

" I love those soft, sweet kisses you give me on the cheek. It's handsdown one of the best things you do to me."

Then there were parts that I felt so sad for him...

"Your everything I have in this world, Gracie. You're my everything. Nothing else in my life makes me happy the way you do and as far as I'm concerned, I need nothing else in life but you. But I'm not your everything ."

Grace has a older brother named James, and a younger sister named Michelle. I loved both of their characters so much. Loved Michelle's feisty mouth and James's big heart. Ian and Grace come from two different backgrounds and Grace's family accepts Ian with open arms. Ian is overwhelmed with all the love and support that they shower him with......

"You're our family now. This is where you belong. Don't ever question it. Don't ever feel you don't deserve it, because you do. We love you so much."

I can seriously go on and on about this book but I don't want to give too much away. You just have to read it for yourself!! The Falling of Love really has everything in it. Like I said, I loved it and then wanted to throw my kindle and then I loved it some more. I got mad, laughed, and cried and fell in love with every major character. There SO much more to this story then what I am talking about so please, please, please, read this book!! I can't even EXPLAIN the way I felt at the end!!! SERIOUSLY!!! REALLY MARISA??? I need book 2 like now, and if you read this so will you!!!

The Falling Of Grace Review!

4 Stars !

In the title, it says...The Falling. I think that is the perfect way to describe this book. We as the readers, are continuing to fall in love with this series!! I am falling more and more in love with Grace's story. Book 1 grabbed me from the beginning and never let me go. I am continuing to be captured by the events that took place in book 2! Once again, I went through so many different emotions when it came to Grace's life. There were times I laughed...there were times I got teary eyed, and then, there were times that got me so frustrated that I just wanted to yell.

It has been about 5 years; Ian is home and they finally get back to the love that they once shared. At first, Grace was reluctant to forgive him, but deep down she knew she was still in love with him and she knew that she would always be in love with him. Their relationship was just as loving the second time around; maybe even stronger. Both Ian and Grace have grown up and have learned so much from their past mistakes. They now know not to take the other for granted and to make the most out of what they have. At first, I thought they moved pretty fast, but I guess when it's right.... it's right.

"I love you so much, Gracie. I know this is all going so fast, but it just feels right. We feel right."

"That's because we are right. From the moment you walked into my math class, the moment I looked into your crystal blue eyes, I knew you were the one."

There were so many twist and turns that took place in this story that I want to talk about, but I can't because I don't want to give anything away. What I will leave you with is.....the ending. Well, let's just say that my heart was beating so hard, and that I had this nervous energy take over my whole body. I just can't believe the way it ended! I did not see that coming, and I have no idea how I feel about it either! I can't decide if it was for the right reasons on "his" part. I almost feel like there is more to "him" than we are aware of. I don't know. I just have this feeling that something is not right. I hope for Grace's sake that I am totally wrong, but I can't wait to find out! I am definitely looking forward to reading what will come next!
