Blyssful Lies Synopsis:

OH.MY.GOSH!!!!!!!

I can't stop saying it!!! O-M-G!!!!! Just finished this book and my finger nails are GONE!!!! I LOVED this story and I don't care if something is wrong in my head. I seriously needed Book 2 YESTERDAY!!! J.C Cliff, you just took me on a roller coaster of emotions. Seriously..... I just don't even know where to start! I have all these thoughts in my head about this story that I can't even think straight while writing this review...LOL!! So bare with me if I do not make any sense!! Where to start...

Let's just say, once I started I seriously could not put it down. I kept telling myself one more chapter....ok just one more...but then, it turned out being so many more chapters! I started last night and I only got 3 hours of sleep and then today at work I didn't do a dang thing, I couldn't put it down!! (Shhh... don't tell anyone) Every single character in this story grabbed my attention from the start. Each one had their individual roles that were so demanding and I loved every one of them!

Julianne Oakley comes from a very powerful family. In the beginning of the story her father is in the middle of a business deal that goes wrong. So as payment, Julianne gets kidnapped and is held in a basement at a prestigious hotel in Atlanta. Julianne wakes up and is trying to figure out what is going on. Once she realizes that she is going to be held against her will and be trained as a sex slave, all hell brakes loose! I Loved her character! She is a feisty, smart mouthed, spitfire that is bad ass! Her determination to survive and her tenacity to gain her freedom will keep you rooting for her at every turn of the page.....

 "I am Julianne Oakley and I have not yet begun to fight."

This girl does not give up!! She does not care what the outcome will be for any of her resistance! She fights till the end and says what she wants regardless of the consequence......


"Oh, Nick," I say seductively but sarcastically, mimicking his previous tone, "you are most definitely a horse's ass; you even taste like you've fucked one. The only type of ass you can probably get, by the way....or are you a goat-fucker? The only arrangement I understand is me ripping your piss-ant balls off when you least expect it!"

Julianne soon finds out that she will not only be fighting against her captive, she will also be fighting against her body. It just so happens that the people responsible for Julianne's abduction, are also responsible for the development of a very important drug that is used on women against their will.....

....-an illegal drug, a substance in which our genius scientist, Jared, helped create. He'd been working on finding the most perfect-yet-sage illicit drug to use on women as an aphrodisiac...only more. The product of all the research, reformulations, and experimentation, had finally resulted in what is now called.....BLYSS.


Once Blyss is in your system you no longer have control over your own body. It makes you feel so euphoric that it only makes you want more. And who better to get you aroused then..... Travis.

Oooooh Travis... Travis is intense!! He is one HOT, tortured, bad ass with a dirty mouth that will set YOUR heart racing with excitement. Alpha male at its best! I guess that is why he has the job he has... as a submissive trainer.....

"It's my job to teach these women. I get them to live for the next euphoric, seismic release, the next big O, the next kinky adventure. Once they give in to their body's natural desires, I then train them to enjoy the individual proclivities of their future owner. By the time I'm done, these women are literally begging for whatever kink their new master likes.

(Biting my fingernails, but would like to sign up. LOL)

Travis brings so much to this story. Yes, he is bad. But you can't help but to fall in love with him. He is seriously the whole package. The fact that he is bad draws you in! He can sound so soft and calm one second, but then be a coldblooded killer the next. He definitely has a past that has made him put up some walls and I can't wait to find out what happened to him. Although, Julianne stirs up feelings that Travis never thought he would experience again. He knows that he has to fight his feelings because he has a job to do, and Julianne is already spoken for by..... Nick.


Nick is the head of the operation. Nick has had an obsession with Julianne since the first time he laid eyes on her. He has planed her kidnapping to the "T" and when he got his chance, he did not hesitate to make her his. He had to have her and didn't care who Julianne's father was. Nothing was going to get in his way...not even her personal body guard Jake. I felt so bad for Julianne and the way that Nick treated her. He had no issues with showing her that he is the boss and that she belonged to him and no one else.....

There were so many parts where Nick had me shaking!!! My heart rate was skyrocketing the minute he stepped into the room. He made me feel like I was the one on pins and needles!


I'm sure you can already tell by my review how much I enjoyed this book. So, DO NOT ALLOW another minute to pass before getting your copy! 1-Click NOW!! I'm looking forward to reading Book 2 and finding out all the unanswered questions...the trigger that started Nick's obsession with her all those years ago...why he hand picked her and what's the connection to Julianne's father. All I can say about the end is I am so nervous for Julianne and I hope by the time I get my hands on it, my nails would have already grown out!! Definitely a 5+++ Star read!!

Blyssful Lies


Ugh.... I have been waiting MONTHS for this book to come out because I LOVED, like seriously LOVED Blyss. So when I saw Blyssful Lies was delivered to my Kindle, I was so excited to get started! J.C. Cliff has a way of leaving you hanging on her every word. She had me from "I'm going to miss you," (Chapter 1, in Blyss) and I am still trying to turn to the next page to get to Book 3, but nothing is happening, and all I keep seeing are the last words from book 2! I'm over here yelling at my Kindle to TURN THE PAGE!!!

Blyssful Lies is a great follow up to Blyss. This story continues the relationships between Nick, Travis and Jules. So, if you have not read Blyss, I suggest you stop reading this review and go pick up that book now! Through out Blyss, all I could do was bite my nails because of how nervous I was for Jules. Well.. I'm still nervous for her as her journey continues. She is one tough chick and does not stop moving forward regardless of her punishments. Nick is one scaring man that keeps me on edge anytime he is in the story, you just never know what he is going to do. In just one statement, he can draw chills up my body.....


"You need to understand these three simple words," he breathes over me in a menacing tone."Live them, breathe them, be them - I. OWN. YOU."


Once again... I loved Travis. He is so dang hot he just has to be real!!! LOL.... Julianna is one lucky girl to have his fierceness always surrounding her. The relationship between Travis and Jules grows even more in this story. You get to see the true Travis as he comes out of the walls that he has built up around him. Getting to know him on a different level just draws you in even more. Travis always has his guard up, but you get to see glimpses of his playful side at moments....I loved his response when Julianna asks him a question...


"Why don't you have any tattoos"?

"Have you ever seen a bumper sticker on a Lamborghini? he asks with mirth.


Then there's the loving side that kept me falling.....


"What we have is more profound than pure bliss, and believe me when I tell you I never want to let you go."


Oh Travis....I don't ever want to let you go!!! HAHA!

There were so many "Oh Shit" moments that I want to tell you about, but I can't with out giving anything away and its killing me. I don't know how many times I told myself "Oh my gosh," or "I can't believe she just said that."This story does continue to give you the twist and turn of events that I always look for in suspenseful story lines. I am truly a big fan of J.C Cliff and I just can not wait for more! I highly recommend this Series to everyone!

Nick sits down beside me, and he almost takes my breath away. He looks absolutely stunning. Even though he’s a handsome devil, I know he carries a big, red pitchfork. His persona screams debonair and suave, and his suit hugs his broad shoulders perfectly. He seems unequivocally radiant and contented, and his brown and gold-flecked eyes gleam with happiness. A waiter appears, interrupting my perusal of Nick. “Excuse me, sir. May I get your usual for you and a glass of wine for the lady?” “Yes, thank you,” Nick replies. Concerned my acting skills may falter at some point, I begin to grow nervous again. I hate this paranoia. I curse myself again for not taking at least one dose of Blyss today, just so I could be able to get through this evening without foible. Nick gently lifts my chin, garnering my attention. “What are you thinking about, love?” I steal a deep breath and think to myself, The show must go on. My lips curve into a small smile and I flirtatiously flutter my lashes. “Do you come here often?” Nick smiles with mild amusement, his eyes twinkling. “Yes, you could say that.” I don’t bother asking what type of wine he’s ordered. I’m sure I wouldn't know the difference between a ten dollar, versus an eighty dollar bottle of wine anyway. I rarely drink, let alone indulge myself with expensive wine. “I also see you have a group of fans,” I comment as I wave my hand around the large room. “Every woman here seems to be eyeing you up and down, like you’re a famous rock star.” Why couldn’t you have taken one of those women instead of me? His grin broadens. “You seem surprised.” “What, the fact women find you attractive?” I shrug my shoulders. “I won’t sit here and lie to you, Nick. You are a very good-looking man. I’m sure you could have any woman you want with the snap of your fingers.” “Yes, well, you will never have to worry about other women. I’ve had a lifetime of them, biding my time until the very day I could finally have you.” He leans in closer, all playfulness pushed aside. “You are the only woman I want to come to me with the snap of my fingers,” he pauses, arching a brow, “and you are the first woman who’s wanted to tell me no.” The way he’s looking at me, pinning me down with his heated stare, I can feel the apples of my cheeks begin to warm. So much is riding on my acting abilities, namely my ass as I pretend to like this man and try building some sort of alliance with him.

 “Please, Sir,” I swallow hard against the dry lump in my throat, “Sir, I will do what you want, anything...just please, stop...” Fragmented words manage to spill out between broken sobs. Suddenly, I feel the hard lines of his body pressing into my backside, his erection gouging into my ass. My sweat is mixed with blood, and it blends together with his body heat as he singes and sears my tender, torn tissue. All I can do is let out a hoarse whimper. “No, Princess, this is your reminder to never forget. I have already given you too much leniency and look where it’s gotten me. I will never make that mistake again. You need to understand these three simple words,” he breathes over me in a menacing tone. “Live them, breathe them, be them—I. Own. You.” There’s a quiet pause in the room, and I pray to God he’s finished, and perhaps he’s changed his mind, because he hasn’t moved away from me. His breathing tickles my earlobe as he continues to hover over me. Suddenly, my entire body jerks as his thunderous boom shouts in my ear, “Do you understand?!” A scratchy scream emits forth as my reply. “Yes, Sir! Yes, Sir, I understand!” Tears continue to soak the silk blindfold. My body is shaking uncontrollably and my teeth begin to clatter nonstop against each other, most likely from shock. This man is absolutely insane. “You need to understand that more than you need your next breath, Princess. You control nothing; I control you.” He reaches around to pinch my clit ruthlessly between his fingertips. “You have much to learn about submitting your mind and your body to me.” His other hand snakes around to pinch my nipple while he kisses the tender spot behind my ear. I’m stunned speechless. All I can do is take it. If I fight him, it will only make things worse for me, if that’s even possible. So I let my freewill begin to betray me as I hear my voice come out broken, cracked and defeated. “I’m sorry, Sir. I am yours.” He chuckles. “You’re a quick learner. I knew you were an intelligent one. You’re body knows what feels good, doesn’t it? You should listen to it more often. I know you’d like to think you’re immune to this drug, but you’re not. You’re going to have to face the cold, hard truth that your mind is no longer your own. I own it.” you
