“Life is so fragile,” she says. “I think we lose sight of that sometimes. One minute you’re here, the next you’re gone. All in a matter of seconds.”

Floating is a story about overcoming your fears and opening up to new beginnings. Lucy hasn't been able to get past her fears ever since the night she almost drowned. If it wasn't for Gabe saving her life, she would have died that night on the beach. Lucy is no longer the girl that everyone remembers her to be. She has pushed everyone away, including Gabe. Gabe has always been the one she goes to, but now just the sight of him reminds her of that night. I really liked Gabe. He loved Lucy so much and my heart broke for him.

No one has been able to help Lucy move forward until she meets Ellis. Ellis makes Lucy feel things that she hasn't felt in a long time. With both Gabe and Ellis by her side, Lucy must find her way back and decide who has her heart. In the end, I was glad that Lucy was able to leave her troubles behind and move on with her life. If you are looking for a simple, light love story, Floating is for you!

“There are times when I’m with you that you make me feel like I’m floating on a cloud. Your kisses, your touch, it can be something small or something big, but you put me in this state of euphoria. This state where I feel like everything falls away. The rest of the world ceases to exist in those moments. The only thing that matters is you and me. So I’m floating again. With you, on this cloud up in the sky. It’s my favorite place and only you can take me there.”
